The existing shareholders will continue to hold a stake in the company. In addition, the management of PHYSIOMED AG holds an interest.
Increased expansion of sales and approval activities
"We see the capital increase as the basis for national and international expansion in a highly exciting market", explains Karl-J. Kraus, managing partner of KJK Management und Beteiligungsgesellschaft GmbH, former head of Roland Berger Strategy Consultants in Germany and a long-standing member of the supervisory and advisory boards of several companies. "The expansion of the company's activities in the markets has top priority for us in the first instance." To this end, the Executive Board has been expanded and further investments are to be made in the digitalization of the products.
In addition, the worldwide approval of products is to be stepped up. "Due to the new EU approval regulations with extremely high requirements, the medical technology market is currently subject to major changes," explains Kraus. "We will meet the requirements more intensively in order to maintain our strong presence with our products."
